I have been experimenting with Canva for my Instagram posting. There are so many tools available on the web, I basically picked one and went for it.
I found Canva very easy to use. And if you use Instagram for business you can be assured that the image size is spot on. There are, of course, lots of layouts available for all social media sites on Canva including Facebook and Twitter. Plus different templates for blog posts and infographics.
For Instagram each image is specifically sized to the format required. You can apply a filter and adjust colour, exposure, crop and resize etc.
“Canva is an online graphic design platform. It offers free access to a wide assortment of design tools and options, as well as premium options for paying customers.”
Often I struggle to find good, straight to the point, demo’s and instructions when trying something new. So whilst I was in the mood for experimenting I decided, after singing Canva’s praises on my last #WitneyHour that I should do a short demo video – click the link below!
Well this involved …
- QuickTime screen recording
- plus a voice-over
- Linking my Google+ account to You Tube
For my first try I don’t think its too bad but plenty of room for improvement … comments and constructive criticism below please 🙂
I will be perfecting my delivery method over the following months and trying other new things.
Let me know what you think!
